What we collect

• Reading the API, feeds, pages or MCP: no account and no cookies. Requests pass through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver and protect the service; we use it transiently for rate limiting and do not store it with your requests.
• Optional API keys: the name and contact you give when creating a key, the key's hash (never the key itself), and daily request counts per key.
• Subscriptions: the query and webhook URL you register, delivery status and errors.
• Paid placements: business details sent by Hottub Business for labeling (see joinhottub.com's privacy policy for payment data).

What we don't do

We don't sell data, profile readers, or run ad trackers. Links and images from publishers are loaded without a referrer from our pages.

Models

Headlines are embedded and classified on Cloudflare Workers AI, and translated and summarized by Amazon Nova on AWS Bedrock (which doesn't use them for training). Search queries are embedded to find matching stories and are not stored.

Retention and contact

News items are kept about 30 days. Revoke a key (and its subscriptions) with DELETE https://hottub.news/v1/keys/me. Questions or deletion requests: hello@joinhottub.com.
